HYRBAN, the New Hydrogen Vehicle Designed in the UK

Hugo Spowers and his firm, RiverSimple, have released detials on their new creation - the HYRBAN. The Hydrogen Urban Vehicle (HYRBAN) is said to be a Smart-size car capable of reaching 50mph and with a range of more than 200 miles.

The firm has been developing the vehicle for more than two years and is due for launch in the UK spring 2009 with a potential roll out on Britain’s roads by 2014.


Hugo also has an interesting take on the infrastructure probelm and claims that While the biggest problem is producing hydrogen, one charging station should provide enough fuel for a city the size of Hereford.
